You need to make sure everyone on the team is involved. And this involvement must be 100 percent by 100 percent of the team members. They all need to be firing on all 16 cylinders.

Finding the right match is vitally important when selecting team members. That’s why I involve my entire team when looking for a new team member. You see, team members are the ones who have to live and work with the new team member, not I.

One of my favorite sayings is “Play for the front of the jersey.”1 If you follow sports, you know what this means. The name of the team goes on the front of the jersey, and the name of the individual goes on the back.
