his being is now in Christ’s being, as Christ is in him, because Paul has died with Christ, and through death Jesus has brought him into a new reality made through the ministerial action of the persons of the triune God (again, Gal. 2:20).6
We experience an encounter with the being of God, finding ourselves in union with the being of Jesus when we are ministered to and led to be ministers to others (see Matt. 25:31–46). To be formed in faith is to give yourself to the story of Jesus coming to you, or someone you know, in and through a death experience.
differentiating union: the more we realize we are one with God the more we become ourselves, just as we are, just as we were created to be. The Creator is outpouring love, the creation, the love outpoured.
Revelation comes in hypostatic union, and Jesus promises to be present in the resonant connection of receiving (ministering to) persons. Resonance is dependent on efficacy, and when we approach children in this spirit of efficacy, when we take responsibility for them, we encounter the living Christ.
