But those who repent and mend their ways, who hold fast to God and are sincere in their worship of God will be joined with the believers; and God will bestow a great reward upon the believers.

Let not the believers take those who deny the truth for their allies in preference to the believersc—anyone who does that will isolate himself completely from God—unless it be to protect yourselves against them in this way.a

Some of the People of the Book believe in God, and in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed to them. They humble themselves before God and do not sell God’s revelations for a trifling price. These shall be rewarded by their Lord: God is swift in reckoning!
