Future of User Interfaces

Not a criticism of the demo! more a comment on the shortcomings of text as an interface. I want to be able to take some text and squish it to get a summary; smash two together to get some AI-inferred conclusions or list of disagreements. Text today is very opaque to most software

Software has an extremely rich design space — closer in the breadth of possibilities to creative activities like fiction writing than traditional engineering.

Mobile revolution aside, increasingly finding the desktop as my center of gravity. A few factors at play, but implications are interesting for developers, app store policies, and evolving our assumptions about the workplace of the future. Any other factors driving this?
