Karma vs Schadenfreude — In essence, while karma is a broader spiritual concept about the consequences of actions, schadenfreude is a specific emotional response to others' misfortunes. The two can intersect when someone feels pleasure (schadenfreude) at what they perceive as karmic justice being served to another person.
