Generally our explanations are guesses. These vague hypotheticals become fixed in our minds as fact. We are interpretation machines, and this process of labeling and detaching is efficient but not accurate. We are the unreliable narrators of our own experience.
You are inquisitive, prospective, and exploratory. And to understand you, we need to know the personal constructs through which you interpret objects, events, other people, and yourself.
in reality you are not a separate person, not an individual self, but the open space in which all of the little waves of experience—thoughts, sensations, sounds, feelings—come and go. You are, quite literally, what you seek. You are the consciousness that holds the dance of form.
The mind is the organ of separation. Its job is to scan the environment and distinguish between the good stuff and the bad stuff—the stuff that will help us survive and the stuff that's dangerous.
