And since we are on it, I can’t avoid remembering what Bong Joon-Ho, the director of Parasite, said about the Oscars:“The Oscars are not an international film festival. They’re very local. […] Once you overcome the one inch tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films”.
