What should you do when you have more ideas than time to pursue them? Two things: First, make sure you’re capturing all the ideas and writing them down, since you might want them later; second, find a way to evaluate competing ideas. Creating a “possibilities list” helps you retain ideas for when you have more time to implement them.
How Do I Execute My Ideas? Here’s what I do often when I am writing down ideas that I think I might want to act on: I divide my paper into two columns. In one column is the list of ideas. In the other column is the list of “First Steps”—only the first step, because you have no idea where that first step will take you.
