The enemy will always try to change God’s periods into question marks. He turns God’s loving boundaries and instruction into a question of intention. I wonder how many of us start out taking God at his word but begin questioning him when the enemy comes inquiring.

when you act on principles, you attract those who carry themselves in a similar manner. When you treat people poorly, they will do the same with you.

Is this really the best way to do it? Know why you do what you do—do it for the right reasons.

The work of living is to set standards and then not compromise them.

“Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man” (Eccles. 12:13).

“The finest defense of character is correct action. Acquaint yourself with virtue, and you can expect proper treatment from those around you.”

“You must retain faith that you will prevail in the end and you must also confront the most brutal facts of your current reality.”3

Jesus wants us to write “Be Awesome” on an undershirt where it won’t be seen, not on the back of a hoodie. Jesus hardly talked to anyone about what He’d done.
