The Examen is a practice for paying attention to your life: reflect on God’s presence; review your day in a spirit of gratitude; become aware of your emotions before God; pray over one feature of your day; and then intentionally look forward to tomorrow.

You should learn now to be obedient to the will of the Almighty. This is how I try to be. Every morning I ask Him to tell me what He wants me to do; then I see Him working through my hands and brain, and everything goes as He wishes.
