... See morefuture. I feel that optimism is important to communicate to the team, instead of solely focusing on problems. Someone once told me, “If you only engage with people about problems, pretty soon, you’ll become the problem for them,” and I agree with that.
I try to give my best ideas away in the hope that someone will do them, because if they do them, that means I was not the only one who could have. I encourage competitors for the same reason. In the end, I’m left with projects that only I can do, which makes them distinctive and valuable.
