Artists and creators become so because they feel they have a special taste to share, a special view of the world that is significant and different. But to really be able to bring it to life and share it with the world takes time and work.

Though artists generally aren’t aware of it, that end work is a by-product of a greater desire. We aren’t creating to produce or sell material products. It is the best means we have of transmuting that which gnaws at us into something that nourishes, and yet how little of that private ferment is visible in the finished work
