The primary requirement is a longing after God.

The mind is renewed by applying it to those things that will transform it.

It is Stoicism that demands a closed universe, not the Bible.

It is this continual focus upon obedience and faithfulness that most clearly distinguishes Christian meditation from its Eastern and secular counterparts.

Meditation is devotional; study is analytical.
